ITHACA, N.Y. – The Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association announced its all-America selections Thursday evening. Ithaca senior
Julie Schaeffer was honored with a CRCA Second Team selection, which marked the 29th Bomber to earn the distinction since 2000.
Schaeffer rowed in the varsity 8 as a junior and senior. She helped the Bombers to a NCAA bid in 2013, and was a NIRC Stewards all-America selection the past two seasons. Schaeffer was recently the recipient of the James K. Harris Memorial Award.

The award recognizes the outstanding performances of rowers and coxswains at NCAA Division III institutions. The student-athlete must have rowed at least 75 percent of the season's races in the varsity boat.
Additionally,
