TROY, N.Y. – The Ithaca College men's track & field team placed 12th at the 2014 ECAC Outdoor Championships Friday at Rensselaer. The Bombers scored 24 points during the two-day event by virtue of five All-ECAC finishes, three of which came on Friday.
 
Ithaca's 4x100-meter relay team of junior Rashaad Barrett, sophomore Aaron Matthias and juniors Kevin Davis and Tyler Curtis clocked a 41.85 finish in the race to claim gold. The time was just one hundredth of a second shy of Ithaca's school record.
 
Sophomore Andrew Brandt cleared a career-high 2.01 meters in the high jump to place fourth.
 
Ithaca's 4x800 relay of freshman Brendan Davis, sophomore Larkin Bohanan and juniors Mason Mann and Dennis Ryan placed eighth with a 7:59.21 finish.
 
The Bombers await the announcement of the NCAA field to be released on Sunday, May 18.
