TROY, N.Y. – The Ithaca College men's and women's track & field teams will compete at the 2014 ECAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships at Rensselaer on Thursday and Friday, May 15-16.

The men's team finished 10th out of 65 competing schools in 2013. Ithaca had four earn All-ECAC honors to score 22 points placing in the 4x100- and 4x800-meter relays, the steeplechase and the decathlon. The Bombers won the Empire 8 Outdoor Championship in April before placing third at the NYSCTC Outdoor Championship.
The women's squad finished fourth out of 57 competing schools in 2013, placing in the top five for the 15th time in program history. The Bombers have won the meet six times, most recently in 2011 and 2012. Ithaca tallied 51 points a year ago with 11 All-ECAC finishes in the 800, 100 hurdles, steeplechase, 4x400, 4x800, high jump, triple jump, discus, hammer, javelin and heptathlon. The Bombers won both the Empire 8 and NYSCTC outdoor championships earlier this season for the sixth consecutive year.
Both teams are represented in the
USTFCCCA Week Seven Atlantic Region Polls. The men remain ranked 10th and the women's team maintained its fourth-place ranking.
