Ithaca Women's Lacrosse Team Ranks 18th in IWLCA National Standings

GRAND LAKE, Colo. – The Ithaca College women's lacrosse team (11-5, 7-0 Empire 8) ranks 18th in week nine of the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association national poll announced Monday. The Bombers sat 16th in the week eight poll.
 
Ithaca saw its nine-game winning streak snapped Tuesday with a 15-8 loss at Hamilton before blanking visiting Utica, 15-0, on senior day Thursday.
 
With its third straight Empire 8 regular-season sweep, Ithaca claimed the top spot in the Empire 8 Championship Tournament. The Bombers will host the tournament Saturday and Sunday, May 3-4 at Higgins Stadium.
