GRAND LAKE, Colo. – The Ithaca College women's lacrosse team (10-4, 6-0 Empire 8) ranks 16th in week eight of the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association national poll announced Monday. The Bombers also sat 16th in the week seven poll.
 
Ithaca is on a nine-game winning streak after picking up a pair of victories over the weekend. The Bombers defeated Stevens Institute of Technology 13-6 Friday before a 13-8 victory at Hartwick on Saturday. With the two Empire 8 wins, Ithaca secured the top seed in the Empire 8 Championship Tournament. The Bombers will host the event May 3-4. All four of the Bombers' losses have been to top-10 teams in Cortland, Gettysburg, York (Pa.) and Geneseo.
 
The Bombers travel to Hamilton for their final regular-season road contest on Tuesday, April 22 at 5 p.m.
