WORCESTER, Mass. – The Ithaca College men's crew raced against Trinity, the United States Coast Guard Academy (USCGA), New Hampshire, Colby and the Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) on Saturday on Lake Quinsigamond. All boats raced under an 11 mph tailwind.
The Bombers opened the day with a win in the varsity 8. The team of

Tyler Edwards finished in a time of 5:51.78 to claim the top spot. WPI took second with a time of 5:55.14, while Trinity placed third with a time of 5:57.65. New Hampshire (6:02.92), Colby (6:12.21) and USCGA (6:15.03) rounded out the event.
Ithaca placed second in the second varsity 8, as the team of

Drew Erskine finished in a time of 6:04.01. Trinity finished with a time of 6:03.73, earning a first place finish. Third place went to WPI with a time of 6:11.34, while USCGA placed fourth with a tiime of 6:24.72. New Hampshire (6:32.82) and Colby (6:48.34) rounded out the competition.
In the final two races of the day, Ithaca placed second in the third varsity 8 (6:23.83) and first in the frosh/novice 8 (6:20.74).
