ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Ithaca College men's and women's track &field teams will be in action Saturday, April 19 at the 2014 Empire 8 Outdoor Championships hosted by St. John Fisher at the Polisseni Track & Field Complex.

The men's team has won the last seven conference titles and nine of the 10 championships contested. The Bombers tallied 183 points in 2013 en route to 12 all-conference honors by virtue of four first- and eight second-place finishes.
Ithaca's women's team is seeking its seventh consecutive E8 title. The Bombers have won nine crowns in the 10-year history of the sport in the conference. Last season, Ithaca tallied 268 points to outscore the second-place team by 189 points. The Bombers earned 21 all-conference honors highlighted by 11 first-place finishes. Ithaca claimed the top two spots in the 3,000-meter steeplechase, the pole vault and the javelin.
Both squads are coming off strong weekend performances at Moravian's Coach P Invitational.
