ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Ithaca College sophomore Scott Sidnam picked up a pair of Empire 8 wins between the pipes last week to lead the 11th-ranked men's lacrosse team to the top of the conference standings. He earned Empire 8 Goalie of the Week honors announced Monday.
 
Sidnam had 22 saves and a save percentage of .667 in 112:07 in goal. He made a season-high 13 saves in a 20-4 win over Utica Wednesday before stopping nine shots in a 10-8 victory against Nazareth Saturday. The Golden Flyers outshot Ithaca, 7-1, in the final four minutes of the game with Sidnam saving both shots laced on goal.
 
Ithaca returns to action on Saturday, April 19 when it travels to Hartwick for a 3 p.m. contest.
