ITHACA, N.Y. – The Ithaca College men's crew placed third overall, earning bronze in the grand final of the Knecht Cup held on Mercer Lake in West Windsor N.J. this past weekend.
The Bombers placed first overall in their respective heat on Saturday to earn a spot in the semifinals. Ithaca finished the heat in 5:58.49, beating out second place Delaware (6:02.88) and third place Trinity (6:05.19).

Tyler Edwards also took the top spot in the semifinals. They finished the race in 5:57.94 to pace the group of six. Delaware once again came in second, finishing in a time of 6:01.60. Boston College rounded out the top finishes in the semifinal, completing the course in 6:05.04.
Ithaca placed third in the grand final on Sunday, finishing in a time of 6:04.72. Hobart finished the race in a time of 5:57.35 to claim the top prize. Drexel finished in second with a time of 6:02.05.
