INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Ithaca's Nickie Griesemer earned her first career all-America honor on Thursday, taking 15th overall in the 1-meter dive preliminaries. Her score of 397.00 in the morning session earned her a spot in the consolation finals where she recorded a score of 380.50.

Griesemer's all-America honor marked the second of the meet for the Bombers, as freshman Grace Ayer earned all-America honorable mention in Wednesday's 200-yard individual medley.

Teammate Heather Markus also competed in the 1-meter boards, scoring 370.95 in the preliminaries to rank 19th overall. Griesemer and Markus make their return to the pool on Saturday, as both athletes will compete in the 3-meter.

After 20 events, Ithaca ranks 33rd overall in team scoring.
