CHANDLER, Ariz. – The National Field Hockey Coaches Association announced its Division III National Academic Team Award winners on Tuesday, naming Ithaca College as one of the 121 schools selected.

The National Academic Team Award recognizes those institutions that have achieved a team GPA of 3.0 or higher during the first semester of the 2013-14 academic year. The Bombers finished the fall semester with a 3.191 GPA.

Ithaca finished the season with a record of 10-8 on the year, as the Bombers reached their first Empire 8 Tournament since 2009.
