HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. -- The Ithaca College men's tennis team swept the doubles matches and won five of six singles positions for a convicing 8-1 win over Penn State-Harrisburg on Thursday morning at Hilton Head Middle School.
In doubles action, Ithaca's tandem of
Justin Levine and
Zach Passman were 8-5 winners at first doubles in the closest match of the doubles portion.
Chris Hayes and
Griffin Reid won 8-0 at third doubles to start things for Ithaca and
David Andersen and
Wes Davis won 8-3 at
All five of Ithaca's singles wins came in straight sets. Reid, Hayes, Andersen,
Zach Passman and Davis picked up the victories.
Ithaca will conclude its spring trip with a match against Missouri Valley College at 8 a.m. Friday.
