ALFRED, N.Y. – The Ithaca College men's basketball team (7-18, 2-12 E8) concluded its season on Saturday afternoon with a loss to Alfred (18-7, 9-5 E8), falling to the Saxons by a score of 104-80 ( at the James A. McLane Physical Education Center.

Frank Mitchell led the Bombers with 16 points, pairing with 11 rebounds for his second-straight double-double and his eighth of the season. Junior
Keefe Gitto contributed 13 points and seven boards off the bench, while senior
Chris Jordan chipped in with 11 points, an assist and a steal.
The Bombers shot 38.3 percent in the loss, going 26-for-60 from the floor. Ithaca went 8-for-28 from beyond the arc, shooting 28.6 percent for the game. The Bombers shot 70.3 percent from the free throw line, going 26-of-37 from the charity stripe.
The end of the season marks the final game in the careers of seniors Mitchell, Jordan and
Tom Sweeney.
