BROCKPORT, N.Y. -- Top-ranked Brockport scored 188.800 and defeated the Ithaca College gymnastics team, which totaled 172.350 in a dual-meet Saturday at Brockport. The Bombers achieved their highest team total of the season on vault in the meet, with an event score of 45.900.

Ithaca's strong day on vault was led by Rani Jacobson with a score of 9.425. Megan Harrington had a 9.3 and Ingrid Calfee scored 9.275. Five of the six vaulters in the Ithaca lineup posted season-best scores on that event.

Harrington placed fourth to lead Ithaca on the uneven bars with a 9.125. Shilanna Gallo was fifth with a score of 8.975. Lara Haberle was the top Bomber on the balance beam with a sixth-place finish and a score of 9.225.

Ithaca's floor exercise lineup was led by Alexis Mena with a 9.25 and a seventh-place finish, a career-high score for Mena on the floor.

The Bombers will compete next weekend back in Ithaca, but at the Cornell Invitational, and will be joined by Brockport and Southern Connecticut.
