Box Score ITHACA, N.Y. – The Ithaca College men's basketball team dropped a 74-48 decision to Trinity Saturday night in the Bombers' opening game of the Cortaca Classic. Ithaca now sits at 0-3 on the year, while Trinity moves to 2-1.

Keefe Gitto led the Bombers in points for the second-straight game, putting up 15 points along with a team-high seven rebounds. Gitto also chipped in with a steal and two blocks. Freshman
Carroll Rich matched his career-high with nine points in his first career start. Rich also added two rebounds, an assist and a steal over a team-high 28 minutes played.

Trinity came out on fire in the opening frame, jumping out to a 16-point lead in the first seven minutes of play. The Bombers battled back over the next 10 minutes, as Ithaca went on a 15-11 scoring run. The Bombers' rally closed the gap, putting the score at 29-18 in favor of Trinity with 2:26 left in the first half. Ithaca matched pace with Trinity for the remainder of the frame, sending the contest to the half with the Bantams holding an 11-point lead.

Ithaca was unable to close the gap again in the second half, as Trinity took control on its way to a 74-48 win over the Bombers.

Ithaca returns to action on Saturday, Nov. 22 in the second day of the Cortaca Classic. The Bombers take on Farmingdale in a neutral site contest at Cortland. Game time is set for 2 p.m.
