ITHACA, N.Y. – The Ithaca College men's basketball team (4-13, 0-7 E8) fell to Stevens (11-5, 5-2 E8) Friday night, dropping an 85-68 decision to the Ducks at Ben light Gymnasium.

Max Masucci led all Bombers with a season high 16 points, adding four rebounds and an assist off the bench. Senior
Chris Jordan also chipped in with 11 points and a steal, while senior
Frank Mitchell contributed 10 points, four assists, two blocks and six rebounds.
Ithaca shot 26-of-58 (44.8 percent) from the floor, including a mark of 11-for-25 (44 percent) from beyond the arc and 5-of-6 (83.3 percent) from the free throw line.
The Bombers led early in the contest, taking an 8-4 lead after the first six minutes of play. However, Stevens stormed back, scoring eight-straight points to jump out to a four point advantage with 11:49 to go in the half. Stevens built on to the lead in the final minutes of the opening frame, taking a 10-point advantage to the locker room at the half.
The Ducks continued to play well in the second, jumping out to an 18-point lead on Ithaca with just under 10 minutes to go in second half. With 7:49 left to go in the game, sophomore
Brad Johanson nailed a three that sparked a 12-0 run for the Bombers. Ithaca's run brought the Bombers to within six points, trailing the Ducks by a score of 72-66 with five minutes to go in the game. Despite the rally, Stevens would pull away in the final minutes, eventually defeating the Bombers, 85-68.
Ithaca is back on the court on Saturday, Jan. 25 against Hartwick. Tipoff is set for 2 p.m.
