ITHACA, N.Y. -- Ithaca College gymnast Shilanna Gallo has been named ECAC DIvision III Gymnastics Specialist of the Week following her performance in Sunday's meet at Ursinus. Gallo scored 9.3 on the uneven bars to win that event in Ithaca's meet.

It was the second consecutive week that Gallo led Ithaca's bars lineup, as she scored 9.025 in the season-opening meet. She leads Ithaca with a 9.16 average on bars this season, and was a national qualifier in uneven bars in 2011, 2012 and 2013, earning all-America honors in that event as a freshman in 2011.

The Bomber gymnasts return to action Saturday, hosting Springfield and Ursinus at Ben Light Gymnasium beginning at 11 a.m.
