NEW ORLEANS, La. – Both Ithaca College cross country teams earned spots in the week two regional rankings by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association, while the women's team remained in the national rankings.
The Bombers are ranked 21st nationally after sitting 17th in the week one poll. They dropped from third to fourth in the Atlantic Region rankings after a second-place showing Friday at RPI's Saratoga Invitational.
The men's team, who was ranked ninth in the USTFCCCA week one regional poll, dropped to 10th. The Bombers placed third out of 15 teams Friday at RPI.
The women's squad will race Saturday at the Roberts Wesleyan Invitational. The men's team takes a week hiatus before returning to action Oct. 5 at the Geneseo Invitational.
