ITHACA, N.Y. -- Ithaca College graduate student gymnast Christine Niles was named ECAC Division III Gymnastics Specialist of the Week for the week ending March 2, 2013. It was the second ECAC weekly honor of the season for Niles.

She had a strong meet at Cortland in a dual this past Sunday. Niles won the uneven bars with a score of 9.55, and also posted a career-best score of 9.375 on vault.

The Bomber gymnastics team will compete in the ECAC Division III Gymnastics Championships this Sunday at Cortland at 1 p.m. The top three teams earn automatic qualification to the National Collegiate Gymnastics Association championship meet March 22-23 at Whitewater, Wis.
