BROCKPORT, N.Y. -- The Ithaca College gymnastics team scored 182.825 in a meet Saturday at Brockport. The host Golden Eagles totaled 188.200, Cortland scored 184.600 and a gymnast from Wilson had a score of 30.125.

The Bombers had three top-five individual finishes on uneven bars to highlight the meet. Katie Sampson was second overall with a score of 9.525, Christine Niles was fourth with 9.425 and Rani Jacobson tied for fifth with a score of 9.300.

Ithaca posted a team score of 46.475 on vault, eight-tenths higher than the team's season average. Valerie Cohen placed fifth on that event with a 9.525. Ithaca also exceeded its season average on floor exercise with a team total of 46.900, led by Tiffany Grube with a 9.600, Cohen with a 9.525 and Sampson with a 9.450.

Two Bombers competed in all-around as Sampson totaled 36.600 to finish third and Cohen scored 35.825 to place fourth among five all-arounders at the meet. The Bombers were led by Kate Woodward on balance beam, who finished 10th with a score of 8.975.

Ithaca returns to action next weekend in a dual meet at Cortland.
