ITHACA, N.Y. – The Ithaca College women's soccer team wrapped up its 2013 season with 19 wins. The Bombers' win total matched last year's output and tied a program record. Ithaca also advanced to the NCAA quarterfinals for the fifth time in seven seasons and the first time since 2011.

The Bombers never fell from top-10 in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America National Poll, climbing as high as No. 5 in the country. One of the first Bomber highlights of the season was in early September, when Ithaca defeated then No. 2 Emory by a score of 2-0 at Carp Wood Field.

Ithaca then went on to earn its 11th-straight trip to NCAA postseason play, earning the Empire 8's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament with a 3-1 win over Nazareth in the E8 Championship game. In the NCAA sectional semifinals, Ithaca defeated Messiah, the two-time defending national champion by a score of 1-0 in overtime.
