ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- The Empire 8 announced its weekly award winners Monday afternoon, naming Senior Frank Mitchell the E8 Player of the Week. Mitchell scored 19 points in the Bombers' game against Skidmore last week, giving him 1,015 points in his career. Mitchell is the 24th player in the history of the program to score 1,000 points, and the first since Sean Rossi accomplished the feat last season. Mitchell also added five steals and two assists. He has scored in double figures seven times this season and has recorded three double-doubles. 

The Bombers are back on the court on Jan. 3, 2014, when they play conference foe Hartwick on the road. Tipoff is set for 6 p.m.
