ITHACA, N.Y. – The NCAA released its weekly
regional rankings late Wednesday afternoon. The Bombers (14-2-0, 6-1-0 E8) upheld their spot as the second ranked team in the region, marking the third-straight week behind only William Smith in the field of eight teams.
Ithaca slipped slightly in the
National Soccer Coaches Association of America National Poll that was released earlier this week, moving to No. 7 after a loss to St. John Fisher in the final game of the regular season. The Bombers are also still in the top-10 in the most recent
D3Soccer.com poll, moving back to No. 10 in the rankings.
Ithaca's next game is against St. John Fisher in the first round of the Empire 8 playoffs on Nov. 9. The match is set to start at 11 a.m. at Carp Wood Field.
