ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- The Empire 8 announced its weekly conference honors on Monday. Senior Katie Kennedy earned the Offensive Player Of The Week after she led the Bombers with two goals on Saturday, helping Ithaca to a 3-1 win over Hartwick. Kennedy's goal output helped secure a spot for the Bombers in the Empire 8 Playoffs for the first time since 2009. Kennedy has had a standout year, as she leads the Empire 8 with five game-winning goals. The Bombers' next game is set for Tuesday, Nov. 5 against Geneseo. The non-conference contest is set to start at 4 p.m.
