CHANDLER, Ariz. – The National Field Hockey Coaches Association selected its 2013 All-Region Teams on Monday. Ithaca's Danielle Coiro earned a spot in the North Atlantic Region, receiving All-NFHCA Second Team honors. Coiro's selection marks the first Bomber since Marisa Frank in 2008 to earn a NFHCA All-Region selection.

Coiro ranked tied for first on the Bombers with 10 goals. Combined with her five assists, she ranked first on the team with 25 points. Her point total set a career high, and ranked eighth in the Empire 8. She scored 11 points in seven conference games this year, ranking seventh in the Empire 8. She was named E8 Player of the Week once this season.

Coiro helped guide the Bombers to their first Empire 8 Tournament since 2009, helping Ithaca to a record of 10-8 on the year. This season also marked the highest win total for the Bombers since 2002, when Ithaca went 11-8.
