Pace And Lass Named To E8 Field Hockey All-Tournament Team

HOBOKEN, N.J. – The Empire 8 announced its Field Hockey All-Tournament Team Sunday evening. Senior Andrea Pace and freshman goalkeeper Katie Lass earned spots on the team, joining four players from conference champion Utica, three players from runner-up St. John Fisher and two players from host Stevens.

Lass was the only freshman and one of only two goalkeepers chosen for the team. Lass compiled a record of 10-8-0 on the year and made a total of 155 saves, including 17 in the semifinal game against Utica. Pace started every game for the Bombers as a back/midfielder, recording two assists on the season. Pace helped a defense that recorded three shutouts this year.
