Warren Named To District 3 All-Academic First Team

ITHACA, N.Y. -- CoSIDA announced its annual Academic All-District selections late Thursday afternoon, naming junior Jessie Warren to the District 3 NCAA Division III All-Academic Team. She is one of 12 athletes recognized on the first team and has advanced to the ballot for academic all-America honors.

Warren has played in 16 games for the Bombers, making 12 starts in 2013. She has recorded seven points this season, ranking fourth on the team. Her five assists rank first on the Bombers and sixth in the Empire 8.

Warren is the 24th women's soccer student-athlete honored in program history. She is the first junior named to the first team since Liz Bishop was recognized in 2002-03. A total of 192 Ithaca athletes have earned academic all-district honors over the past 23 years.
