AMHERST, Mass. – The Ithaca College sculling team competed at the Seven Sisters Regatta this past weekend, marking the second-straight year Ithaca has competed in the Amherst gathering. All athletes rowed twice, competing against Massachusetts and Tufts in morning and afternoon races.

The morning was highlighted by a first, second and fourth place finish in the doubles event. Julia Schaeffer and Anna Schenk finished first, completing the 5K course in 18:21.5. Stephanie Zang and Lindsay Beatty weren't far behind, finishing second in a time of 18:53.7. Megan Barry and Stevie Theoharidis finished fourth.

The afternoon was highlighted by a second place finish in the quad race, as Kelly Parker (coxswain), Schenk, Schaeffer, Megan Barry and Zang finished in a time of 17:51.2.
