ITHACA, N.Y. - Ithaca College freshman gymnast Megan Harrington earned ECAC Division III Rookie of the Week honors for the week of Jan. 29, 2013 following her strong performance in the Bombers' meet at Springfield. It marked the third consecutive week that an Ithaca gymnast has earned a weekly award from the ECAC.

Harrington had her best meet as a collegian Sunday, as she posted season-best scores in two events in addition to a solid vault of 9.025. Harrington led all Ithaca College gymnasts on balance beam with a score of 9.175 that was second among all competitors against Springfield. She also posted a season-best score of 8.775 on floor exercise.

Ithaca's team returns to action Saturday at home, as the Bombers host Cortland and Springfield in a tri-meet at 3:30 p.m. at Hill Center.
