Ansley Jemison

Ansley Jemison completed his second year on the men's lacrosse staff with the 2014 season, helping Ithaca to a record of 27-11, an Empire 8 championship title and an appearance in the NCAA Round of 16.

As a student-athlete, Jemison was a four-year letter winner at attack for Syracuse. The Orange made it to the Final Four during each of his four years and won one national championship. Prior to his arrival on the South Hill, Jemison served as the defensive coordinator for fellow Empire 8 member institution, St. John Fisher.

Jemison coached the Under 19 Iroquois Nationals World Team. The Iroquois Nationals competed in the U19 World Championships during the summer of 2012 in Turku, Finland, finishing with a bronze medal. He also served as the Assistant General Manager for the U19s. He has been heavily involved with the development and growth of the Iroquois Nationals Organization. He also served as the Assistant General Manager for the 2011 Iroquois Nationals men's indoor lacrosse team that competed in the Czech Republic.

Jemison works for the American Indian Program at Cornell where he is a Residence Hall Director at Akwe:kon.
