Marc Israel

Marc Israel joined Ithaca’s coaching staff in 2008. A 2005 Ithaca graduate, Israel was a two-time all-American during his career, placing third at 165 pounds as a senior. He also earned academic all-American honors twice and was named an NWCA scholar all-American three times.

Israel received the Most Outstanding Wrestler Award at the 2005 ECWC championships and finished his career with a 118-32 record; only four Bombers have won more matches.

Israel also serves as Ithaca's Assistant Provost Finance and Administrative Operations, where he oversees the financial and administrative operations for the Provost and Division of Educational Affairs, and provide strategic oversight of the President’s Office financial operations. 

His past experience includes assistant and associate director of Budget at Ithaca College. Prior to coming to Ithaca College, he held positions at JP Morgan Chase in various leadership roles including staff accountant, controller, and manager & controller.  

Marc earned an MBA and a BA in Economics from Ithaca College.  He has completed the Ithaca College Supervisory Academy as well as the Administrative Management Institute at Cornell University.
