Mike joined the athletic department on a full-time basis in the summer of 2011. He has taken on progressive responsibilities throughout his tenure in the Ithaca College Department of Athletics. His main duties include scheduling and operations planning and management of the Athletics & Events Center including the Aquatics Pavilion and seasonal outdoor pool.
Mike Ariel is a 2009 graduate of Ithaca College with a bachelor's degree in exercise science. He was a four-year member of the Ithaca men's swimming & diving team and was a state qualifier in freestyle events and a team captain. He was a member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.
Following his graduation he served as an assistant coach with the men's swimming team.
