Jeff Long completed his 26th year as an assistant women's soccer coach in 2012. He has helped the Bomber program to a 372-104-68 record and two national championships during his tenure. Long is also the men’s lacrosse coach at Ithaca.
Long works primarily with the goalkeepers. He has coached Beth Howland, the 1991 Intercollegiate Soccer Athletic Association (ISAA) Goalkeeper of the Year and a 1998 inductee into the Ithaca College Athletic Hall of Fame, Emily Johnson, who earned NSCAA second-team all-America honors in 1993 and Becca Salant, the 2012 D3Soccer.com Goalkeeper of the Year and first-team all-American.
Former U.S. Naval Academy all-American, Long completed his 26th season as head men's lacrosse coach at Ithaca in 2013. Ithaca's winningest lacrosse coach, Long has compiled an overall record of 251-135. He was voted the Empire 8 Coach of the Year in 2000, 2002, 2005, 2006 and 2008. He was inducted into the National Lacrosse Hall of Fame in 2009 and the Ithaca College Hall of Fame in 2010.
