A member of the 1991 U.S. National Rowing Team, Becky Robinson has been Ithaca's head coach since 1995.
Robinson, who has led the Bombers to national championships in 2004 and 2005, was named Coach of the Year by the CRCA in 2001 and again in 2004. In 13 years as head women’s varsity coach she has guided the Bombers to an 152-35 mark, 10 trips to the NCAA Championships and two national titles.
In 1995 she became the first member of the crew program to be inducted into the Ithaca College Athletic Hall of Fame.
Robinson, who graduated from Ithaca with a degree in physical therapy in 1988, rowed with the Bombers from 1985-87. She went on to compete with the Pioneer Valley (Conn.), Vesper (Pa.) and Boston Rowing Center clubs. She last competed internationally in 1993.
Robinson is an instructor in the School of Health Sciences and Human Performance at Ithaca.
